Today has been another wonderful day at Hosmer Point, with great energy all around camp. Campers started the morning with a hearty breakfast of pancakes and sausage before heading off to their morning focus areas.

Projects are really coming together this week as campers continue building skills and putting the finishing touches on their creations. Book Club has been full of quiet reading and lively discussions, Mountain Biking has been exploring the trails, Comic Book Creation is producing some truly imaginative stories, and Country Club has continued its tradition of lighthearted fun. Our oldest campers have been hard at work on their Capstone projects, while Wearable Crafts has been stitching together impressive creations and Farm & Garden has been busy tending to the gardens.

Morning electives were the perfect way to beat the heat, with lots of campers choosing to spend time swimming and cooling off at the waterfront.

Lunch was a camp favorite: Taco Tuesday. Let's goooo!!

This afternoon brought another round of creative and adventurous focus areas. Sea Voyage Adventure set sail, Thanksgiving Arts & Crafts began decorating the Dining Hall for our final dinner of the session (the theme is still a closely guarded mystery!), Dungeons & Dragons continued its epic quests, Mermaid Princess Training practiced underwater skills, Swamping Around explored the wetlands, Sailing caught whatever breeze it could find, Holes Holes Holes kept campers digging, and Farm & Garden returned for another productive afternoon.

Many of you have probably seen today's weather forecasts, and we've been keeping a close eye on conditions all day. Our leadership team is continuously monitoring forecasts, radar, air quality, and any weather alerts. We adjust programming as needed to keep campers safe and comfortable. Today, that included limiting high-cardio activities during periods of reduced air quality, making sure everyone stayed hydrated, and building in plenty of opportunities to cool off. If thunderstorms or severe weather become a concern, we have well-established procedures and safe indoor shelter locations ready to use. As always, camper safety is our top priority, and we'll continue adapting our plans as conditions change.

Tonight's adventure is still to come, and we're looking forward to another fun evening together. The good vibes are still going strong here at Hosmer Point!
