We’ve been waiting all year for this very day!!!

Today is the first full day of our first session at Hosmer Point, and both campers and counselors are jumping with joy to be back at camp! After an evening of getting to know our cabin counselors, cabinmates, and other camp friends yesterday, today we signed up for this week’s focus areas. Focus areas are week-long activities, where campers can hone a skill, work on a project, or just have plain-old fun!

This afternoon campers did swim checks before spending time swimming and paddleboarding at our waterfront on this beautiful summer day. Fans of land participated in camp classics such as tennis and archery.

Tonight after dinner, we will close out the day with a game of Stones, our take on Capture the Flag, and a beloved Hosmer Point standard.

At the moment of writing this, the sounds of laughter can be heard from the office. One day in and everyone is having so much fun!
