Today at HP has been wonderful, warm, and sunny! Campers were super stoked about the breakfast sandwiches this morning. After breakfast, campers continued in their focus areas. A favorite of this session so far is Build, a woodshop activity run by counselors Ming and Jonah, who are both architecture students at Cornell. This week’s project: a ballista for launching soccer balls.

Plenty of fun was had at the waterfront and the soccer field on this lovely summer day. Today was the perfect day for a free-swim at our lake! Campers can’t wait for the water slide to open.

After firing up the pizza oven for some delicious pies, tonight’s evening activity is Casino Night. Teams of campers can win monopoly money at 11 different games run by our counselors, and as a team, and bid on prizes at the end of the night. The prizes themselves are a bit of a gamble, however. Will the teams get ice cream sandwiches or will they have to clean everyone’s tables at breakfast?
