Hello HP Families!
There’s nothing quite like the smell of fresh cinnamon buns to kick off a camp day, and that’s exactly how we started this morning. Warm, gooey, and delicious, breakfast was a cozy treat as the thunder rumbled in the distance.
With another thunder watch in effect, we switched gears to a beloved rainy-day tradition: Indoor Waterama! This creative twist on our classic outdoor event brought all the excitement and energy inside the theater.
Waterama was packed with games and team challenges that had campers laughing, cheering, and scooching across the floor. Some of the highlights included:
Limbo, where campers showed off their flexibility and cheered each other on as the bar dropped lower and lower
The famous PB&J Race, where scooching replaced swimming and added a whole new level of hilarity
A huge round of Giant Jenga with 50 campers playing together at once
And of course, Tubby Bunny, a camp favorite that had everyone giggling
Lunch was the perfect match for a cozy camp day with warm grilled cheese and tomato soup. A comforting classic that hit the spot after a morning full of fun.
We are still riding the high from last night's Lip Sync Night, which was a huge success. Campers brought so much energy, creativity, and personality to the stage. The performances had the whole room clapping, laughing, and dancing along. It was truly one of those magical camp evenings that we will remember for a long time.
We are especially looking forward to tonight’s Thanksgiving Night, a special evening where campers and staff dress up and come together to celebrate all that we’re thankful for here at camp. It promises to be a night full of connection, reflection, and delicious food.
All the best,
The Camp Blog Team
