Winter Book Club for Parents

Have you ever wished you could make everyday life more like summer camp?  Unstructured play. Time outdoors. New friendships and self-discovery. If you're a parent, you're probably acutely aware of how screen time, an abundance of structured activities, and media-fueled anxieties about safety work together to make the "real world" more and more removed from all that we value about camp.  At Hosmer Point, we want the camp experience to translate into more confident, competent, and resilient kids year-round.  To that end, we started a Winter Book Club to help parents "bring camp home."

Read along from the list of titles below!

We'll also be posting book summaries and tips on our Facebook page.

We will also have copies of all titles available to borrow during camp.  Pick up a book on opening day, and bring it back on closing day!

Have ideas of more ways we can partner with parents?  Let us know!
