Wellness Weekend FAQ
When is arrival time? Arrival is Friday from 3:00 - 6:00
When is departure? Departure is Sunday from 1:00 - 2:00
Will there be activities for different age groups? Yes, there will be activities that kids (age 9 and up) can attend alone, as well as activities they can do with parents.
What options are there for young children and babies? Young children and babies are welcome! Children 4 and under are free, children ages 5-18 are $100. Kids ages 9 and up can participate in most activities without their parents (parents must supervise swimming and free-time activities).
Are all meals provided? What options will you have for special food needs? All meals will be provided, from dinner Friday to brunch on Sunday. Head Cook Cecil will be providing his legendary meals made with fresh, local ingredients (including lots veggies from the camp garden). Vegetarian, gluten free, and lactose free options will be available at every meal, by request.
Are alcoholic beverages permitted? Yes. Please BYOB if you would like. We will provide a beer tasting sampler for Saturday night.
May we bring our dog? No. We're sure your dog is well behaved, but it gets complicated to manage the interactions of multiple dogs meeting for the first time. Thanks for understanding!
What are the cabins like? Each family will be assigned their own private cabin. Cabins will be the same ones used during the camping season, so they will have a large area with bunk beds and an adjoining room with either a bunk bed or two singe beds. Toilets, showers, and sinks will be in the shared bathhouse near-by. All cabins have electricity.
What do we need to bring? Please see our packing list! You will need to bring your own bedding and towels. Keep in mind that September can be chilly in Vermont, and the cabins are unheated. Bring warm sleeping bags, hats, gloves, jackets, and rain gear (just in case).
Is there wifi at camp? What about cell service? Wifi will be available in the dining hall building. Cell service at camp is limited to certain areas. Depending on your carrier, you will probably get service at the top of the hill.
Who will be leading activities? Besides our usual camp offerings (lead by our experienced camp staff) we'll also offer workshops provided by instructors from the larger community, such as yoga and massage.
