We’ve been so busy having fun at camp the past few days that we’ve forgotten to update the blog! Oops!

Saturday, older campers participated in The Call of The Loon, a camp-wide relay race involving mountain biking, archery, canoeing, and fire building! This is a staple of the HP experience, and is widely beloved by all involved! The day ended with a BBQ party on our waterfront, where campers got to enjoy some chilling and grilling, as burgers and hot dogs (as well as vegetarian options) were served at the lake, with music, water games, and a campfire at the end!

The past few days have seen the last of camper’s week 1 focus areas! Campers picked new focus areas at the Beach BBQ Party this Saturday evening, including an Olympic Games focus, CRAFTsbury, and Waterama Training, where campers practice the many waterfront games found at our Waterama event at the end of the session.

Last night’s evening activity was Survival, another staple of the HP experience. Survival is a nature-themed game where herbivores, omnivores, and the like play a whole-camp game of tag!
