Today was a hot one at HP! The waterfront was a popular destination among the campers, with focus areas such as Sculling and Sailing going for a little swim after docking their boats. Waterfront electives like Milfoil Removal, where campers help remove invasive plants from our lake (and get to go swimming as a result) were also very popular.

Tonight, we’re firing up our wood fired pizza oven, for a camp favorite, Pizza Night! Campers and counselors alike jump for joy for pizzas ranging from the classic cheese and pepperoni, to some more adventurous choices, like apples and pesto.

Tonight’s evening activity is Casino Night. Teams of campers can win monopoly money at 11 different games run by our counselors, and as a team, and bid on prizes at the end of the night. The prizes themselves are a bit of a gamble, however. Will the teams get ice cream sandwiches or will they have to clean everyone’s tables at breakfast?
