Last night, a welcome change in the air quality arrived just in time for one of our most beloved evening programs: Survival. North, South, East, and West teams faced off in a giant, camp-wide game of strategy, speed, and tagging. Campers were assigned ranks — herbivores, carnivores, humans, and diseases — and the rules were simple but intense: herbivores ran continuous laps (no tagging for them), while each higher rank could tag the one below. It was fast-paced, silly, a little chaotic, and a whole lot of fun, a true camp classic.

This morning, we kicked off the day with a favorite: breakfast sandwiches. With full bellies and high spirits, campers launched into the last day of focus areas for the summer.

The growth across camp is impossible to miss. Whether it’s on the water learning to sail, in Arts + Crafts painting, or out on the trails, campers have shown amazing commitment to their focus areas over the past several days. They’ve built skills that will stick with them long after the summer ends, and their confidence shows in everything they do.

Tonight, we’re closing out the day with a camp favorite: Lip Sync. Cabins have been working on their performances all session long, and the anticipation has been building. It’s one of the most competitive and hilarious activities at Hosmer Point. More than just a show, Lip Sync brings cabins closer together and gives everyone a chance to let loose, laugh, and celebrate all the creativity and teamwork that’s been building over the last two weeks.

We’re soaking in every moment of this final stretch, and it’s shaping up to be unforgettable.
