Traditional Residential Camps

Our residential camps are offered in sessions of varying lengths to fit your summer schedule.  Each session opperates using the same daily schedule and offers similar focus area, elective, and evening activities.  Campers in longer sessions have a greater diversity of experiences, have a chance to get in-depth with their favorite activities, and forge even tighter friendships.  See the dates for this year's sessions.

1- Week (6 Day) Sessions for ages 9 - 13:

One week sessions are a perfect way to try out camp for the first time, or fit camp into a busy summer.

Wylie Hill:  Named after the hill overlooking Hosmer Point, Wylie Hill is a great overview of what camp has to offer, and an exciting way to kickoff the summer!

Wild Branch:  Named after a near-by stream, Wild Branch camp is fast-moving and fun - a perfect close to summer before another busy school year.

2- Week (13 Day) Sessions for ages 9 - 15:

The original 2-week experience at Hosmer Point!  These popular sessions offer time to try all the activities HP has to offer, make lots of new friends, and truly become part of the camp community.

Holiday Hill: Named after the hill where Hosmer Point is located, and the camp which was based here from 1946 to 1974.

Black River: This camp is named after our watershed- a great reminder of how our actions at Hosmer Pond effect the region.

Bayley-Hazen:  Jacob Bayley and Moses Hazen  were some of the first Europeans to pioneer this region.  As part of the Revolutionary War effort, they oversaw construction of Bayley-Hazen road through Craftsbury to the Canadian boarder.  At Hosmer Point, we honor their spirit of exploration.

4- Week (27 Day) Sessions and 6-Week (40 Day) Sessions:

Combine any consecutive 2-week sessions: For campers who want more of everything Hosmer Point has to offer, we provide activity-filled, supervised stay-overs between sessions at no extra charge.  Campers who stay for more than one session tell us that four weeks is twice as good as two!
