Hello HP families!

We’ve been soaking up a quintessential summer Sunday here at Hosmer Point. It’s the second day in a row of warm, sunny weather and we are loving every second of it!

Today marks the start of a new week of focus areas at camp! Our campers have many exciting options to choose from including: Woodworking, Waterama Training, Kangaroo Court and Holes, Holes, Holes! They'll be engaging in hands-on learning experiences and having a fantastic time.

The results from Call of the Loon (our camp-wide relay race) are in! Team North won with a time of 28 minutes, 14 seconds. It was THE closest Call of the Loon race we’ve had this summer - the difference between 1st and 4th place was less than 3 minutes! Congrats to all our participants and the spectators who cheered them on - a phenomenal effort all around!

Tonight is the night we’ve all been howling for - Halloween! During this bewitching after-dinner activity, groups of campers take turns being guided down a haunted trail and will be surprised along the way by counselors dressed in spooky costumes! Booooo! All other campers who are waiting for their turn to go and those who prefer to opt out of this activity will kick back and enjoy a relaxing movie together in the theater. An enchanting evening awaits!

Check back soon for further updates on the action-packed escapades of our campers this week!

All the best!
